Project Outline
The primary objective of this school project was to generate an in-depth brand guideline document for a business, underscoring the attainment of the learning goals related to client interaction.
My client for this project was Every Grain Matters which is an initiative that focuses on bringing awareness for holistic food, and indigenous grains and creating an awareness that we are here to live in cohesion with all beings.
Project Phases
Market Research:
· Client surveys to gather insight as to what type of designs they are interested in.
· Client meetings to get a better understanding of client needs/wants, negotiables and non-negotiables with their logo design.
· Research other logos used within the industry with holistic food and alternative grain options.
Design:
· Create designs that would best represent the initiative while taking the clients survey answers into consideration using Adobe Illustrator
· Client meetings for client feedback on designs
· Make edits to designs based off client feedback.
Challenges:
· Design challenges with millet.
· Use of Ai tools to conceptualize, client feedback.
Website:
· Create a brand guideline website on Canva to present brand's story, mission, colours, typography, logo & guidelines, logo placements and a mood board.
